Baked Chicken Pasta (Creamy & Cheesy)

This baked chicken pasta is a comforting and delicious dish, made with tender pasta, juicy chicken, and a creamy, cheesy sauce. Perfect for a family meal!


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fusilli)
  • 1 ½ cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup marinara or tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the Chicken & Sauce:

  • Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onions until soft.
  • Add garlic, then stir in chicken, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour in marinara sauce and cream, stirring well. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

2. Combine & Assemble:

  • Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and chicken.
  • Transfer to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

3. Bake:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

4. Serve & Enjoy:

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!

  • Pair with a green salad or garlic bread.
  • Add mushrooms, bell peppers, or spinach for extra flavor.
