Baked Chicken Pasta (Creamy & Cheesy)
This baked chicken pasta is a comforting and delicious dish, made with tender pasta, juicy chicken, and a creamy, cheesy sauce. Perfect for a family meal!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fusilli)
- 1 ½ cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup marinara or tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream or milk
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the Chicken & Sauce:
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onions until soft.
- Add garlic, then stir in chicken, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in marinara sauce and cream, stirring well. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Combine & Assemble:
- Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and chicken.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
3. Bake:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
4. Serve & Enjoy:
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
