Crispy chicken

Here’s a simple and delicious Crispy Chicken recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crispiness)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Breading:
    • In one bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
    • In another bowl, whisk the eggs with milk.
    • In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  2. Coat the Chicken:
    • Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture, then dip it into the egg wash, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
    • Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure a crispy coating.
  3. Fry the Chicken:
    • Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
    • Fry the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side (or until golden brown and fully cooked).
    • Drain on a paper towel.
  4. Serve & Enjoy:
    • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce!
